Bathrooms are small and every inch is contested. Custom dimensions let a vanity fit the wall you actually have instead of the nearest stock size, and drawer banks store far more than a single cabinet door and a shelf ever will. Toiletry drawers, hidden outlets and pull-outs beside the sink are the details that get used every day.
Laundry rooms are usually a machine, a door and nothing else. Cabinets above the machines, a hanging rod for things that can't go in the dryer, and a durable counter to fold on turn a corridor into a room that does its job. It's one of the smallest projects I do and one of the most noticeable afterwards.

Bathrooms and laundry rooms are harder on cabinetry than any other room in a Florida house. Steam, splashes and year-round humidity work on the cabinet box long before anyone notices the doors. That's why every cabinet I install is all-wood construction with no particle board — particle board is what swells at the seams and delaminates under a vanity after a few years of Tampa Bay summers.
For surfaces, granite and quartz are both excellent choices here. They resist moisture, heat and humidity without warping or staining, they're durable enough for a laundry counter you fold on, and they're low-maintenance in a room you don't want to think about. High-quality painted finishes and natural wood stains with protective topcoats hold up best over time, resisting scratches, moisture and daily wear. In a bathroom that matters more than anywhere else in the house — a vanity door gets opened wet-handed several times a day, every day.
Every family's needs are different. On their own is fine. A single custom vanity is a common project, and it goes through the same process as a full kitchen — consultation, measurements, a 3D rendering you approve, then build and install. Smaller scope simply means a shorter timeline.
